Chester man faces charges in connection with a third alleged assault victim

CHESTER - A Chester man charged in June on two sexual assault allegations is facing more court time, following new charges by Ludlow Police in connection with what police describe as a 2015 kidnapping, attempted aggravated sexual assault, and lewd behavior with a then 14-year-old girl.

Ryan Stocker, 18, of Chester has been charged this week by Ludlow Police in connection with the incident alleged to have taken place two years ago.

During July of 2015, Stocker, then 16, is accused of "luring" a 14-year-old female victim to an area on High Street in Ludlow, where he is alleged to have committed “a lewd act and attempted to sexually assault the victim,” according to a press release from the Ludlow Police.

Police allege that Stocker refused to allow the victim to leave the area, and that he continued his attempts to assault her. She was able to flee to the safety of a nearby friend’s house, all according to police.

Stocker has been charged with Kidnapping, Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault, and Lewd & Lascivious Conduct with a Child, according to police. He is scheduled to appear on Aug. 7 at Windsor County Superior Court - Criminal Division to face the charges.

Stocker has been lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility (SSCF). He faces a $100,000 cash or surety bail, all according to police.

Stocker is already facing charges from June of this year in connection with two counts of sexual assault that police say stemmed from two separate incidents in 2016 and 2017. He has pleaded not guilty to those charges.
