Vermont Cannoli to open this weekend
CHESTER — Vermont Cannoli will be open at its new location at 145 S. Main Street in Chester on President’s Day weekend. The hours of operation are Fridays, from 3 to 7 p.m., and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The authentic Italian cannoli are made with hand-dipped, homemade ricotta. The overstuffed small and large cannoli come in three flavors — traditional with chips or pistachio, almond, and Vermont maple walnut, made with local maple syrup. They also have cannoli chips and cream, as well as cannoli kits, which come with everything you need to make cannoli at home. They will also be serving cappuccino and expresso.
“After several years at the summer farmers' markets, it was time for a permanent location. People love homemade cannoli and want it year-round, not just in the summer,” said Catherine Marino, owner and baker.
